Several meetings have taken place since our Annual Conference this past March. In May, APA headquarters staff had their first face-to-face meeting with key players from Nexus International, The Network, and VIPAR. Numerous manufacturers were invited to introduce them to the newly created organization and what it will mean for everyone going forward.
Two Regional meetings also were held this summer. The Eastern Regional in June was held in Newark, NJ and 17 member companies attended. Attendees heard presentations from Walker Products, Marmon Ride Control (DEA Motor Mounts) and FCS, APA Headquarters updated everyone on the latest news. The group also talked about sharing key business indicators, business systems including MAM and Prism, supplier shipping woes and Product line Compliance. The group also discussed a membership survey to bring more volume to the Group.
