Nexus Automotive International will open the ‘doors’ on its first global virtual trade show, with more than 1,000 visitors from the automotive aftermarket signed up to attend.
Some 40-plus N! Suppliers will be exhibiting during the two days of the N! Virtual Days event (14th and 15th October) during which delegates will be able to ‘walk through’ the digital hall, visit manufacturers’ booths and conduct face-to-face meeting over the internet.
Bas Donders, NEXUS’ Brand and Communications Director, said: “One of the basic values of NEXUS is ‘Community’, and we all miss our live events. We simply couldn’t imagine leaving our members and suppliers in ‘silence’ for months, and that’s why we have created this exciting new exhibition.”
N! Virtual Days builds on a series of digital events held by Nexus, including global and region-based webinars, organised to fill the ‘void’ created by the Coronavirus pandemic.
Bas Donders added: “There will be more than 1,500 digital meetings between N! Members and Suppliers, along with four webinar sessions in which we will update the N! Community on NEXUS’ strategic projects, initiatives and business opportunities.”
As well as addressing the development of NEXUS over recent months, the webinar will provide specific insights for the Heavy Duty community, and also showcase some of the most innovative start-up businesses being supported by Mobilion, the early stage venture fund initiated by NEXUS.
Bas concluded: “We have involved the entire NEXUS team in this massive initiative and each of our colleagues will be at the show to support the visitors on N! projects and regional development. Finally, a new digital initiative to bring the global community together will be revealed at the beginning of the new year with innovative solutions to guarantee a safe and healthy environment for the N! Community.
