NEXUS Academy training sessions have taken place in Johannesburg and Beijing, attracting more than 100 delegates, including technical co-ordinators, specialists, technical managers, commercial and sales executives, and technicians.

In South Africa, the training was supported by N! members Wag/Goldwagen, which hosted the event in its new head office in Centurion, and Desamark/Diesel Electric. N! Business Developer, Martin Hendriksen, co-ordinated the setting up of the sessions, which were attended by N! Members from Botswana, Swaziland, Namibia and South Africa.

Automotive parts and systems studied ranged from timing-belts, steering and suspension, and wheel bearings, to clutches, braking and engine management. The sessions were led by three N! selected suppliers, Schaffler, ZF and Bosch.

Workshop training was held in China, thanks to support of N! business developer James Zhang. Technicians working for N! Chinese members enjoyed the opportunity to follow an intensive course on clutches held by N! supplier Valeo.

More N! Academy trainings will follow in the coming weeks, in Russia, India, China and Geneva, dedicated to technical coordinators, technicians, sales and purchasing executive directors.
