  • Camshaft / Crankshaft sensor
  • Map sensor
  • Throttle position sensor
  • Camshaft / Crankshaft sensor : It enables the engine management computer to know the engine rotational speed. There may be several sensors on the same car.

Map sensor : It measures the pressure or vacuum (If the engine is supercharged) in the manifold with respect to the atmospheric pressure. It replaces the mass or volume flow meter. Some pressure sensors are integrated with a Air Switch ASXXXX.

Throttle position sensor : It measures the angle of rotation of the throttle valve axis and sends this information to the computer in the form of an electrical signal. The computer then uses this information to adjust the ignition and fuel requirements. This is especially used for the idle adjustment.
