SHANGHAI CONNECTING DAYS UNDERLINE GLOBAL REACH OF NEXUS AND STRENGTH IN ASIA PACIFIC

The Shanghai ‘mini-summit’, at which 14 N! member companies discussed potential business opportunities with a selection of N! contracted suppliers, followed similar events this year in Moscow, San Paulo, Dubai and Atlanta.

It took place at the Sofitel Shanghai Hongqiao hotel on Wednesday and Thursday, 12th and 13th July, and featured, on the second afternoon, workshops on ‘Counterfeit automotive parts’ and ‘Diagnostics’. The three sessions, delivered under the N! Academy School training initiative, were presented by suppliers Bosch, Valeo and ZF.

Just two weeks ago NEXUS achieved its goal of being ‘the only truly global progressive aftermarket alliance’ after the leading autoparts distributor in Australia and New Zealand, Bapcor, joined as a member, giving it a presence across six continents.

Another new member was the Shanghai headquartered G-Part, one of China’s leading aftermarket distributors.

NEXUS CEO Gael Escribe said: “Being truly global makes N! an unrivalled growth accelerator for progressive companies in the automotive industry. Wherever in the world you run your aftermarket business N! is there to support you.”
