Eurol partner of Tom Coronel in FIA WTCC

In 2016, Eurol lubricants will be the new partner of driver Tom Coronel during the FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC). The FIA WTCC is the highest level in touring car racing, taking place over four continents. The sponsorship is in line with the international ambition of Eurol.

Martijn Pfeiffer, Managing Director of Eurol: “At this moment the Eurol brand is available in 70 countries. It is our strategy to expand and further improve the availability of Eurol lubricants all over the world. FIA WTCC helps us to increase the brand awareness of Eurol. All our quality products are made in Holland which makes Tom Coronel an excellent ambassador of our brand.”

Tom Coronel: “Eurol provides lubricants and several other important fluids. We have had a longer relationship with Eurol through our participation in the Dakar rally and I know that their lubricants work very well in tough conditions. In recent times, the company has grown massively also at international level. Together we can make it a situation of mutual benefits. I’m delighted with this new sponsor.”

Tom Coronel will be racing in a Chevrolet Cruze as part of the Italian team ROAL Motorsport. The car is currently being prepared to the latest specifications to appear on the grid in France for the start of the 2016 FIA World Touring Car Championship season.
